Aerial view of The Sierra Nevada. A mountain range on the west side of the USA. It lies between the States of California and Nevada. The photograph was taken from the window of plane as we were preparing to land. We were about to start our travel and adventure to Yosemite National Park.

I spent 20 year leading 100 mile and k and backpack trips up and down the Sierras, including in and out of Yosemite. Great photo. They are beautiful from however you enjoy them.
