Arches National Park near Moab, Utah was not the destination. It was a side trip. We were on the way to Salt Lake City, Utah from Ouray, Colorado when enormous road signs kept popping up every few miles. It was advertising the wonders of the park. We have never been there and we figured that we had enough time for a detour.

The park is well known for having the most concentration of natural stone arches and formations. It was well worth our time to drive the entire loop of the park and appreciate its wonders.
