It was back in 2017 when we went searching for fields of wildflowers. Instead, what we found were boots on poles stuck upside down.
It was springtime and we heard that the hill country had some very good fields of wildflowers growing. So, off we went on a road trip. Unfortunately, spring weather came too fast and too short. The warm days wiped out the remaining wildflowers. We were left with green fields with withering wildflowers.
Random photographs of our past travels. Memories found and captured in a photograph.
What kind of wildflowers do you have where you live?

What a neat way for someone to decorate their fence posts. It’s too bad you weren’t able to see the wildflowers in their prime. There’s always next time, as in this spring!
