This California Poppy was another bloom that showed up in our garden. Our garden is just full of surprises! It was also delightful because it provided an opportunity to practice with macro photography. Especially during times when we are not traveling.

Thanks for your comment on Earth Day. I don’t know if I can count the number of Poppy photos I have. I’ve never been able to resist photographing them and had a whole hillside growing behind our house in Oregon when we lived there. I’ve signed up to follow your blog. –Curt
