It looked liked a stream, even like a creek. Shrouded in mist and fog as its water made its way downstream. The banks were littered with rocks … or do you call it boulders? Quite difficult actually to tread my way closer to the water for a better photograph. But, slowly, carefully, I made my way to a spot that I liked.
The Nisqually River meanders around 80 miles from the Nisqually Glacier to empty into Puget Sound. This part of the river looked cold and mysterious. Its crystalline waters reflecting the enchanting colors of the surrounding flora. It came from beyond the mist and fog, creating an alluring aura, that beckons explorers and nature enthusiasts alike. As the river flows, it disappears between the rocks, carving its path through the rugged terrain. The babbling water sounds like it’s whispering ancient secrets to those who pause to listen.

The misty atmosphere definitely adds a layer of peacefulness to the river.
