Capturing Memories on a Long Drive

This was another long drive one summer day. Thirteen hours to be exact. Instead of sleepy, grumpy faces, we saw faces filled with sparkle and laughter. Kids who hated to be pulled out of bed before the break of dawn were first to get on board. The adults felt cheated though because we had to stay awake during the long drive while all of them snuggled back to sleep.

Our reward was a balcony seat and a panoramic view of Alabama’s Old River while we sat sipping cold drinks.

Random photographs of our travels. Memories found and captured in a photograph.
