Crab Spider on a Daisy Flower

The Crab Spider was waiting in ambush on top of a Daisy flower. It was trying to camouflage by folding the Daily petals upon itself. It can change color as part of its camouflage. This time, it took on the matching color of the flower.

This spider was one of the beneficial insects lurking in the garden. It has been known to consume harmful insects that destroy the flower garden. Unfortunately, the Crab Spider does not discriminate. It can consume bees and butterflies if it gets the chance to capture them.

Random photographs minus the travel. Memories found and captured in a photograph.
