The gate of the Kasbah of the Oudayas. The heavy wooden doors within the intricately carved stone arches. The design was featuring the traditional North African style.
It was a bit overwhelming to be standing in front of the door of the Kasbah. The 12th century door was looking so massive that it made a 6-foot person look small. There we were standing for a short time while the tour guide was narrating some history of the Kasbah as well as its famous North African design.

What a beautiful door. Love the colour of it too.
Despite its size, there was a tendency to ignore the door. Until, one is standing in front of it and realize how massive it is. The door is massive but the wall is even taller!
