It’s funny what doing nothing can do for you. It makes the mind wander. There are articles published stating that children become creative when they are bored (sorry, too lazy to look for the article).
What about adults? While in hiatus from traveling, the bored mind wandered and ended up creating a herb and spice garden. It’s doing well but, I think, it will always be a work in progress.

I definitely buy into the idea of how creativity can come from boredom. I have an herb garden as well. It’s fantastic to have fresh ingredients on hand when cooking.
We just made pesto from our herb garden produce. It’s a very exciting activity!
