We ended up exploring and enjoying the surrounding areas of Gatineau after spending a day in Ottawa. The forest, trees, trails, and lake of Gatineau Park was in contrast to the urban areas of Ottawa.

Lovely capture. Gatineau Park looks like a great place to connect with nature even though it’s still close to the city. Another place we have yet to visit.
Wow! I’m happy to be showing you places that you can visit. Have fun at the park. We did a short hike to the ruins. I can’t remember which one but it was an easy hike.
