The lakeside beach was beckoning to be admired. It was in full view as we were driving gingerly over the frozen bridge. We had to make a detour.

The beach wasn’t lonely after all. There were a bunch of people, mostly children, who were playing on the snow banks. A snowball fight was in full progress. So much squealing and laughter!
