Arriving in Regensburg was bittersweet. It was another great place that we were visiting. We were now officially in Germany. It was also our last stop for the river cruise after leaving Linz the night before.

We arrived early at the breakfast lounge since we’re meeting a local guide. With breakfast out of the way, we then started disembarking to the port area and waited. The river boat was docked near the historic Stone Bridge. A stone bridge built in the 12th century linking the old town to Stadtamhof. Amazingly, still very much intact and still very much in use.

The local guided tour was short. We were shown parts of the old city. After that, we were left on our own to explore Regensburg. The architecture of the old town was looking like it has seen a lot of history.
There was one more night of sleeping in the river boat. The final disembarkation was the next day. We were heading for a few days in Munich, Germany.

Love your picture of Stone Bridge with all the ducks.
Thank you! It was a refreshing sight that morning!
