The Fes Old Medina Labyrinthe

We were introduced to the Fes old Medina labyrinthe by our local tour guide. The people living in the Medina began creating the passageways as the community was growing. It was morphing with the Medina’s way of life to become what it is today.

A narrow alleyway with textured stone walls, featuring a group of people walking towards a light source at the end.

The labyrinthe didn’t follow a fixed pattern. Some were wide enough for a mule train to easily tread. Some were just wide enough for people to squeeze through.

Random photographs of our travels. Memories found and captured in a photograph.
