Washington (state) of the USA is a Pacific Northwest state. It is bordering the southern part of Canada. Joining the union was in 1889 as the 42nd state.
We have set a goal of visiting all 50 USA states. Washington is one of the few states left that we have not visited.
Two weeks was all we had to visit Washington. I have to admit that the planner did an excellent job! Plane tickets, vehicle rental, hotel accommodations, and travel routes were ready before departure. All I had to do was muscle work, navigation, and making sure that we were safe on the roads.
