The Hemisfèric was designed by Santiago Calatrava. An IMAX cinema, planetarium, and laserium is housed within its building. . The Hemisferic is also more than just a building. It is considered as a gateway to discovery. A gateway inviting visitors to explore the wonders of the cosmos and the magic of cinema within its futuristic embrace.

It was another two-hour bus ride from Alicante before we arrived in Valencia, Spain. Our bus came rolling to a stop along Ciutat de les arts i les ciencies, a modern cultural and architectural complex designed by renowned Santiago Calatrava and Felix Candela. We spent sometime there before moving on to other parts of the city of Valencia for a walking tour.
