The Assounna Mosque of Rabat, standing on the southern end of Avenue Mohammed V, was one of the largest mosque in Morocco that we saw – from the outside.
We couldn’t go in the mosque to view its architecture. We did, however, still appreciated its exterior facade architecture.
We had one last chance of viewing its minaret as our tour bus was driving by it. Today, we were doing a guided tour of Rabat before heading for the city of Fes, Morocco.

It’s too bad you couldn’t go inside, but as you said, at least you could still appreciate its exterior.
