A photograph of a couple in the shadow viewing the Louvre Pyramid. The Louvre Pyramid is a glass and steel structure that functions as the entrance to the subterranean lobby of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
We were too early at The Louvre. Too early because we wanted to catch the early rays of the morning sun. Too early because we wanted to see The Louvre without the horde of tourists. We were warned about the crowd. True enough, the crowd started to trickle in even before the morning sun had the chance to fully light up the courtyard.

Sometimes the best sites you see are not part of the attraction. Have a great day. Allan
Same thought here, Allan. That’s why we always look outside the box being presented to us. Look around, look behind. Have a great day as well! George

What a fantastic capture. Love the contrast between the light and shadows.
Lovely photo. We visited the Louvre many years ago (2005?) during our daughter’s spring break from high school; we arrived a little after opening and there were just a few people waiting to get in. It’s certainly not like that now!
