A brightly-lighted Christmas Tree at The Star in Frisco. The annual lighting of the Christmas tree happened again and was well attended. The event was open to the public. Families with children as well as visitors experienced the festivities of lighting the Christmas tree. The cheerleaders of the Dallas Cowboys presented a dance entertainment that was rarely seen outside of the football arena.
A flag bearer was running into the field waving the blue star flag of the Dallas Cowboys to signal the start of the festivities.
It was followed by the lighting the top of the pole of the blue star flag with a flare.
The cheerleaders then came entering the field with a strut to start a series of cheerleading dance presentation. They were indeed stars in their own right. Mesmerizing and glamorous.

This was one of the highlights of the cheerleaders’ presentation. Dancing in formation and exhibiting moves that a lot of little girls envy. It was extravaganza for the rarely publicly seen celebrities.
The future cheerleaders of the Dallas Cowboys Football Team. Little girls, attending a local Dallas Cowboys dance studio, were given the chance to show their skills on stage.

How fun to attend the tree lighting ceremony and see the cheerleaders of the Dallas Cowboys. Sounds like an awesome event.
It was awesome! The big thing was that the cheerleaders don’t usually perform unless during a game. It was a big treat with the Christmas lighting event.
