We were still with the tour group. The bus was winding down on a route that was taking us to a few attractions until we reach our hotel.
The best view of Hassan ll Mosque, we thought, was a few distance away from Boulevard de la Corniche.
La Corniche, by definition, is a scenic roadway that winds along a cliff, a mountain, or a coastal drop off. Our tour manager took us to a coastal drop off that gave us a wonderful view of Hassan ll Mosque from across the waters of the Atlantic ocean.
We liked the view so much that we decided to return that night to view the mosque at sunset.
It was with great hope to see the mosque under a fiery and colorful sunset. However, we only found dark, ominous clouds and a gloomy sea.
