Farther down the alleyways of the souk, in one corner hidden from view, was a wall that was displaying Moroccan arched mirrors.
The mirrors were around one-foot tall and made of a variety of materials. We saw a lot of mirrors made of metal. Some were made of wood. Most had inlays of either metal, wood, or bone. Definitely, very colorful and attractive.
What made a mirror Moroccan? One, the mirrors were handcrafted. Two, the mirrors were made of either metal (brass), wood (cedar or thuya), or bone. Third, the mirrors had the characteristic dome shape, geometric patterns, and metal embossing.
It was very tempting to buy some of the mirrors. Alas! We had no more room in our luggage!

Such interesting looking mirrors. I imagine they would be pretty hard to bring back home safely! But, at least you have your pictures to remember them by!
so many things to see there that were very attractive and interesting!
