This day, we were touring parts of Quebec City. This was after our visit to Kingston and Gananoque
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” Matthew 25:40
One gentle reminder met us outside the door of the Basilica of Ste Anne de Beaupré. A life-like statue of a beggar sat outside the door of the basilica. Above it, a quote from Matthew 25:40 was written in French.

One gentle reminder sat outside the basilica but the miraculous statues were inside the basilica. The statues have been known for its miracles on curing the sick.
We thought the statue of the beggar was a more powerful reminder to be mindful of the least of our brothers and sisters.

How interesting that they constructed this statue outside the basilica. Agreed, it’s a more powerful reminder than simply having a sign or something. How did you find your time in Quebec City?
We had a wonderful time in Quebec City! We also have family living I Gatineau. It made it easy to go around. They suggested interesting places. We also picked interesting places based upon our research.
