Travel definitely influences a person. For us, food specialty from other countries was our fascination. Though we haven’t been to Genoa, Italy, we have been to some parts of Italy and we have had some taste of Pesto Pasta.

Our vegetable garden has been thriving despite the 100+ F summer heat. We had a good harvest of Basil leaves that we turned into pesto. Now, we are just cultivating the Basil plants for its flowers and seeds for the next crop.

This morning, it was time to have a taste of Pesto Pasta. Basil from our garden, turned to pesto, and cooked to perfection for a nice dish of Pesto Pasta!
