The bangka fleet lay anchored close to shore now. It was after the storm front came passing through the Sabang Boat Terminal. This was our last leg of our journey to reach the Subterranean River National Park in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines.
The photograph was taken as the bangka fleet was returning closer to shore. Some bangka had to be recalled, anchored in deeper water, and allowed to returned to shore only after the storm. The danger of damage to the boats during the storm has passed.

Nice shot. I’ve never been on a bangka boat before, but I don’t think I’d want to be on one when the water is choppy!
