Travel stories & photography circa 2022: Italy, was our first meaningful travel as a couple. We were heading to a country that had been romanticized to us through books, stories, and movies. It was exciting to finally see Italy.

Planning for the trip

We did our own planning for places to visit depending upon availability and time constraint. We have full time day jobs and can only travel whenever we have available time off. Resources for bookings of flight, hotel accommodations, and some transportation were a combination of travel agency and self-booking. We also utilized a combination of self-guided and guided tours to explore Venice, Florence, Rome, Pompeii, and Positano at the Amalfi coast.
